The Production Schedule Analyst will be responsible for securing and supporting the production schedule, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure adherence to plans and timely delivery. This role involves analyzing production status, developing schedules and recovery plans, managing KPIs, and monitoring daily production activities to uphold consistency in production priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Status Analysis:
- Assess current production status in collaboration with stakeholders to identify any issues impacting the schedule.
- Production Schedule Development:
- Create and implement a comprehensive Production Schedule, including a recovery plan that addresses capacity requirements (workforce, machinery, tooling, and jigs) and delivery dates.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Accountability:
- Secure commitments from stakeholders, challenge them to minimize schedule adjustments, and maintain accountability for adherence to the schedule.
- KPI Development and Improvement Plans:
- Build, update, and analyze KPIs to measure production plan execution and delivery performance. Develop improvement plans and actions to enhance efficiency.
- Planning Tools Optimization:
- Review and refine planning parameters in tools such as SAP and Excel, ensuring that planning models align with production goals.
- Daily Production Monitoring:
- Attend daily production meetings to report on progress, parts availability, and daily priorities. Support and maintain the daily production schedule, making necessary adjustments to stay on track.
Mandatory Skills and Proficiencies:
- Production Planning and Project Management: Expertise in managing and maintaining production schedules.
- SAP Knowledge: Proficient in using SAP for planning and scheduling.
- Excel (Advanced): Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and scheduling.
- Aerospace Engineering/AIRBUS Experience: Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and production practices.
Optional Skills and Proficiencies:
- Microsoft Word: Ability to use Microsoft Word for documentation and reporting.
- Aerospace Engineering or Project Management Background: Relevant experience within aerospace or project management roles.
